This Refund Policy governs the circumstances under which Credentia Verification Technologies Private Limited (“Credentia”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) may issue refunds in connection with the Services provided via our website, https://credentiai.com (the “Website”). This Refund Policy is incorporated by reference into our Master Services Agreement (“MSA”) and is fully consistent with our Privacy Policy. In the event of any conflict between this Refund Policy and the MSA or Privacy Policy, the terms of the MSA shall prevail.

General Terms

  • All fees for our Services are paid in advance for the Subscription Term and are non-refundable except as expressly provided in the MSA and this Refund Policy.
  • By using our Services, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Refund Policy, the MSA, and our Privacy Policy.

Subscription Fees and Payment Terms

  • Non-Refundable Nature: All fees are non-cancelable and non-refundable once paid, except where a refund is expressly provided for under this Refund Policy or as outlined in the MSA.

Refunds for Cancellation

  • Customer-Initiated Cancellation: If you cancel your account, your access to the Services will cease immediately. Except as provided in the MSA, you will not be entitled to any refund of fees paid for the current Subscription Term.
  • Credentia-Initiated Termination for Cause: In the event that Credentia terminates this Agreement for cause (as defined in the MSA), we will refund any prepaid but unused fees covering the period after the effective termination date. Such refunds will be processed within 30 days following termination and subject to verification of the unused portion of your Subscription Term.

Refunds Related to Service Uptime Credits

Should the Service Uptime, as defined in the MSA and subject to the terms thereof, fall below 99.95% in two (2) or more consecutive calendar months, you will be eligible for a credit equal to the pro-rated amount of fees applicable to the downtime. These credits will be applied against the fees for your subsequent Renewal Term and are not considered cash refunds.

  • Request Submission: To request a refund under the conditions set forth above, please submit a written request to contact@credentiai.com
  • Review and Approval: Upon receipt, your request will be reviewed to ensure it meets the criteria outlined in this Refund Policy and the MSA.
  • Processing: Approved refunds will be issued via the original payment method used during the transaction, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

No Additional Refunds

  • No refunds will be issued for fees or charges incurred beyond the Subscription Term or for any additional services not covered by this Refund Policy.
  • Any pro-rata or partial refunds will be issued solely as specified herein.

Modifications

  • We reserve the right to update or modify this Refund Policy from time to time. Any changes will be effective upon posting the revised policy on our Website. Your continued use of our Services after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Refund Policy. You are encouraged to go through this Refund Policy regularly to remain updated of any changes.

Governing Law

  • This Refund Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, India.
